Identification (ID) checks are required for security – they are part of OCR’s measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, and that someone is not requesting it without your knowledge. Once we have completed our search, we will remove your ID from our records.
The 30-day time limit for a Subject Access Request will not begin until the day we receive your ID.
As part of the application form, we will need you to attach a form of identification; you can attach either a scan or photo of the document.
Acceptable forms of identification are a copy of the photo page of your passport or identity card, your photo driving licence, or your birth certificate.
If your name has changed since you sat your exams, you must also provide a scanned copy of your marriage certificate or deed poll.
